A home of value-based, growth & goal-oriented education — empowering every child to become a compassionate, capable leader.
St. Joseph's School, Bajal, Mangaluru is a branch of the Carmelite Sisters of St. Teresa (CSST) — an Institute founded in 1887 by Mother Teresa of St. Rose of Lima in Ernakulum, Kerala. Today, CSST spans 114 educational institutions across 23 states in India and abroad.
The school was established in 1989 to serve the high school education needs of the Bajal community. The English Medium section began in 2008, with Nursery and Primary classes added soon after. Under dedicated leadership, the school achieved 100% SSLC results on multiple occasions.
Eleven consecutive batches of SSLC students — many from Kannada Medium backgrounds — have excelled under our committed faculty, reflecting our core belief: that every child, regardless of background, deserves quality education.
To empower students through value-based, quality and integral education — to empower others, especially the socially and economically marginalized, and to create a 'Civilization of Love.'
